"The EduHack initiative is essential for supporting the digitization of the education system and we are happy to participate with resources from the InnovX-BCR Accelerator. Technology solutions contribute in three ways: they provide tools, they provide context, and they provide data and information. The digitization of the education system was done with the help of private initiatives and start-ups that came with innovative ideas to the market, often starting from such hackathons, which have the role of generating practical ideas that must later be taken over and multiplied. ", said Ana-Maria Crețu, BCR Startup Programs Coordinator, EduHack2021 sponsor

"Sodexo Romania has been and wants to remain a promoter of the progress and well-being of the community of which it is a part. Through our projects and products we contributed to a better life for employees, supported local tourism, supported vulnerable communities, promoted culture. Starting this year, we also want to make our contribution to the process of digitization and modernization of the education system by supporting the EduHack 2021 initiative. A Sodexo team will respond to the challenges launched during the hackathon, strengthening our commitment to support innovation and generate new solutions. We support innovative ideas and solutions, with the potential to create new businesses in Romania, which will thus contribute to the country's economic growth. Digitization is no longer a fad, it is a necessity. It occupies an important place in our company's strategy and helps us provide services that are easier to manage, faster and more secure. Through our actions, we encourage the digitalization of our customers and partners, as part of a process of adaptation to the current conditions, which will allow them to promote themselves and develop.", said Felicia Georgescu, HR and CSR Director, Sodexo BRS Romania.
